Steeped in experience and expertise, Steen Consultants is the region’s foremost pioneer in civil and structural engineering consultancy. One that has helped design some of Singapore’s most important landmark buildings and structures.

The company was founded in 1924 by the late Steen Sehested, a Danish Civil Engineer(inset). After the war, Sehested re-established the Singapore practice and a partnership was formed in 1956. Rapid expansion followed and offices were soon established in Kuala Lumpur and other major parts of Malaysia and Brunei. The firm underwent a restructure in 1972, and centred itself in Singapore and Malaysia.

Today, the firm is managed and supported by a team of dedicated and experienced Engineers and Technical personnel.
